The Role

The CNC Miller vacancy is a hands-on CNC role for an experienced machinist who enjoys technical, low-volume/high-value work.

For the role of CNC Machinist, you will:

  • Set and operate CNC Milling machines including 3, 4 & 5 Axis Machines, ideally Mazak.
  • You will be working with Fanuc and Heidenhain control systems
  • Work from engineering drawings to tight tolerances
  • Inspect your own work using precision measuring equipment
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and quality standards
  • Work as part of a skilled, supportive shopfloor team

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller within a precision manufacturing business
  • Experience with Fanuc/Heidenhain controls
  • Experience machining large components (MNB Precision have anything up to 8 metres in length x 800mm diameter)
  • Experience working with exotic materials including Inconel or Duplex.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings as well as GD&T symbols.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality
  • A reliable, team-focused approach is required for the CNC Miller role.
